- Because they are worth it! I had a Zoom 14.4 (a piece of dodo!!) and I
- had nothing but problems with it. I was NEVER able to upload and
- Zoom's techs were worthless. I just moved to a Sportster (the
- 28.8/33.6 jobber) and i'm really happy with it. It's worth every
- penny. Zoom is inexpensive but what good is it when the product does
- not perform, the rpi software does not work with anything, and the
- techs are worthless ( prob. because their product is a turd!) I love
- my Sportster...I'd buy another USR but I'd NEVER buy another Zoom (or
- any modem that uses rpi for that matter). I learned the hard way that
- you get what you pay for.
